She never should have promised to come to this stupid game. Emma was not a person who honored tradition, so why was she here? She knew the answer. She had come to see her niece play Powder Puff football. It was the first event in a very jam-packed homecoming week, and Julia had begged Emma to come. Just driving into the stadium parking lot brought back horrid memories.
Chubby Emma, coming to games with her friends, always female friends, and watching all the happy, loving couples, knowing it would never be her. Senior year, she had attended this game and sat miserably watching her Crush, the amazing Mr. Wright, her Government teacher. He was, without a doubt, the most wondrous man she had ever seen. He was new that year, fresh from college and only a few years older than Emma. Actually, he was 5 years older, but she felt such love for him anyway. He was unmarried, unattached. She knew she could make him happy, if he ever noticed her. All year, she watched and waited and wanted. Then she graduated and went off to a prestigious college, armed with her many scholarships. Adam Kelly sat against the wall of the hotel restaurant, glancing intermittently at the exits in front and to the side of him while casually reading a story about the President”s daughter who would be touring colleges in the coming week. The tables were beginning to fill as business travelers, as well as city workers filed in for breakfast.
Except that they weren”t travelers, or regular citizens preparing to go to work. At least four of them had made direct eye contact with Adam, if only for a second, and they all moved about the room as though they knew people were watching. Adam likened it to actors playing a role, and shook his head as he glanced back down at the paper. At least they had remembered to dress in street clothes as well as casual business attire rather than the obvious dress codes observed at the White House. (more…)

“Shit it’s hot.”
She stood on the side of the road, looking towards the oncoming traffic and wondering if any of those sons of bitches in their air conditioned cars were ever going to stop and give her a lift.
When the job offer came through she had to jump at it - one problem - it was a thousand clicks away and she had no way of getting there except on her thumb.
Her sports bag was on the ground between her feet, her legs slightly parted and she could feel a slow trickle of sweat running down the inside of her one thigh, normally this would have been an erotic sensation to her, now it only irritated her, reminding her that she was hot and thirsty and still had a long way to go. A slight breeze played with the skirt of her white one piece mini sun dress, lifting it slightly, with the amount of leg that she was showing she should have been picked up ages ago. (more…)

It was so unbelievably cold. Bowing her head, Alex pulled her leather jacket tighter around her petite frame as she stumbled across campus. Thoughts of just collapsing under the weight of a ridiculously heavy book bag and the frigid air seemed tempting. ‘Go on without me,’ she called silently to imaginary hiking mates as she pictured her trembling frame being slowly buried in the snow. The short distance between the parking lot and the library might just as well have been Mt. Everest.
Too damn cold. (more…)

“For those who didn’t catch Chapter One, here’s a brief synopsis:
I work in an office with a staff of attorneys, most of whom are desirable but one (Dave) makes my flesh crawl. There is one attorney whom I lust from afar (Dan) but so far, the only one-on-one action I’ve ever seen with him is working overtime on cases other than my hormonal overload.
Chapter One ended with:
During lunch, a few of us girls gather in the break room. Instead of eating in today, we decide to go to a restaurant. Since there’s no manager in sight, we decide to have a teensy weensy liquid lunch. After all, it’s Monday and we won’t be getting out of the office until at least 8 p.m. During our lunch, we gossip. I confide my fantasy about Dan and everyone sighs and nods. Apparently, I am not the only woman who’s noticed how striking of a man he is. Nor have they missed Dave and his creepiness. The conversation becomes loud as we drink more and discuss Dave. Each girl has her own story. (more…)

Zoe had been with her boyfriend, Matthew, for about six months or so when it all changed. Their relationship had begun in the first week of university β they had lived in neighbouring flats in the Central Halls of Residence, and the entire block of freshers had had one long week of drunken debauchery to celebrate getting to tertiary education.
She”d not been sober all week β and neither had he - so she had an extra inebriated confidence on top of that given to her by her fairly easy upbringing. She had flirted with him all week, doing everything possible to catch his attention β being as close to him as possible as frequently as possible, touching him whenever she could get away with it, always smiling whenever he looked at her, that sort of thing. As the General Manager at an older, slightly run-down hotel, I can tell you that my job is rough. It is a truly thankless job. There’s too much work and too little help. But, occasionally there are those moments that make all the crap worthwhile.
About a year ago the owner and his son decided to make some drastic changes to the hotel. They wanted to cut the staff back to help pay for those changes -βat least until they began to show a profit again. So, being their manager I got the depressing task of laying off several people. A couple of them I considered friends. (more…)

Twenty-two year old Jeff Schmidt dialed the phone number on the slip of paper he held in his hand. The paper proclaimed, “Apartment Mate Needed!” and offered the names of two girls, an address, and a phone number. The phone rang, and a voice on the other end answered, “Hello?”
Jeff replied, “Hello, my name is Jeff Schmidt and I”d like to speak to Melanie or Amanda, please.”
“This is Melanie, what can I do for you?”
“I”m calling in response to your ad for an apartment mate,” Jeff replied. “What do I need to do?” (more…)

Last Christmas, I gave my husband a present he will never forget. I wanted to make his holiday extra special. When he came down the stairs on Christmas morning, he never noticed the beautifully decorated Christmas tree. He never saw the enormous pile of presents. His eyes were instantly drawn to the cute little blonde perched on the mantelpiece wearing nothing but a Christmas stocking.
It had taken me all month to set this up, although the idea had been in the back of my mind for over a year. I felt that it was something Jeff needed. (more…)

“This submission will eventually be an audio Dawn will be submitting in July. It’s based on a true story at a club we belong to and for whatever reasons, stories in this category seem to sometimes generate nasty feedback and public comments. That’s fine, but please consider taking a look at So You Want to Try a Swing Club [ http://english.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=258635 ] before blasting away.”

It was all kind of strange how it worked out. There were no agendas when we went to the club. For myself, I wasn’t really feeling all that well to begin with, but sometimes it’s just fun to go and watch other people or maybe mingle some. I mean, we’ve been going long enough to the same club we’re getting to know people. For the voyeur, or for that matter the exhibitionist, it’s really not a bad place to hang out. (more…)
